July 7th- 6:45am- La Pamplonesa Bands parades the streets playing
the traditional song
"Qunito levanta, tira de la manta
" (get up, take
off your blanket
)
8:ooam First rocket is launched announcing the first Encierro
10:00am The Procession of San Fermin
11:00am Taurine Festival in the Bullring
12:00noon Rural Sporting Events
14:30 Momentico (Procession reaches the Cathedral, and The Giants
Dance)
17:30 The Mules at the Town Hall
18:30 The Bullfights
20:30 The Penas leave the Bull Ring
22:30 Toro de Fuego (The Fire Bull) Not a real bull
23:00 Fireworks
23:00 Encierrillo- Bulls are taken to the corals at Santo Domingo
24:00 Open-air Dances until dawn
July 8th-14th Same as above except that the procession takes place
only on the 7th .
8:00- The running of the Bulls every morning
9:00-9:30 The Parade Of Giants
July 14th - 24:00 Pobre de mi (the closing ceremony done with candle
light)
This schedule is the same every year, the only changes to the schedule
are the different bands that will be playing for that years fiesta.
There are many scheduled events, and many things to see and do.
There is a FunFair in the Park that has rides and many food tents.
There seems to be something going on all the time, but don't forget
to get that much needed siesta in.
